If you’re a parent in crisis, we’re here to help. We can’t give you legal advice, but we can assist you as you try to adjust to your “new normal.” Call or text (715) 257-4363, and we’ll help you locate resources in your area. Calls are usually returned within 24 hours. We can help you find legal assistance, mental health counseling, as well as other services that you’ll need during this stressful time. Whether your child has been removed by CPS or because of a custody order, you don’t want to go through this alone. All calls, texts, and emails are confidential. We don’t keep any records that could be accessed by an attorney for use in a court action. Be sure to look at our Resources Page for verified sources of assistance.

COMING SOON: PLAN™ is developing a forum where members can come for support and assistance finding local resources. Moderators will be trained by PLAN’s board as Online Crisis Navigators™ who can help guide parents in crisis along the difficult path ahead.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE. VOLUNTEER WITH US

PLAN™ is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the development of an Online Crisis Navigator™ course. Volunteers will be asked to participate in a six-week training program then assist parents in crisis via our crisis forum for a minimum of two hours a month for one year. After six months of satisfactory service, volunteers will receive a professional letter of recommendation signed by the Board, suitable for an employment reference. The six-week course will focus on understanding the legal system, the family court system, recognizing and reporting suspected abuse, and identifying someone with an immediate mental health crisis. After completing the course, the volunteer Online Crisis Navigator™ will be able to explain the court process to parents in crisis, as well as offer them support and comfort.

Our ideal candidates is post crisis themselves, able to use social media and basic forums, and willing to get involved to help parents who are facing the hard realities of having a child removed from their custody.
