Additional Privacy Rights for Residents of California
California’s “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code Section 1798.83, gives California users the right to prevent the disclosure of their personal information to third parties for the third parties’ marketing purposes. Non-exempt businesses and organizations are required to respond to requests from California users inquiring about the organization’s practices related to the sharing of personal information to third parties for the third parties’ marketing purposes. Non-exempt organizations may have a policy in place to prevent disclosure of personal information of users to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes if the user has exercised an option to opt-out of such information-sharing. We have such a policy in place. If you wish to opt out please contact our the Executive Director at PLAN.Exec.Director@gmail.com.
